Israel/Palestine: Settler colonialism, counter-insurgency and population control

Laleh Khalili is Senior Lecturer in Middle East Politics at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. She will discuss the history of the Israel/Palestine conflict since the creation of the state of Israel in 1948. She will also examine land use, including how the Palestinian population is controlled through constant surveillance and monitoring.
